Focus on Fundamentals

For Trotter Jr., the foundation of his linebacker training lies in what he calls "block destruction," a crucial skill that he and his fellow linebackers cultivate extensively. "I would say the biggest thing is block destruction. That's something he really emphasizes at the linebacker position, and I feel as a linebacker corps we really hone in on that, and we made that our character and our personality is to make sure, if anything, we got off our blocks," Trotter Jr. explained. Jeremiah Trotter Jr.’s first game with the Philadelphia Eagles not only demonstrated his abilities but also reinforced the promise of a long and successful career.
